Revelette Wines Acquires Bear Track Vineyard on Howell Mountain

Largest Vineyard Acquisition in Winery's History Doubles Estate Holdings in Napa Valley

RUTHERFORD, Calif., (May 21, 2026) -- Revelette Wines announced the acquisition of Bear Track Vineyard, a 43-acre estate located at 1540 Howell Mountain Road in Napa Valley. The purchase represents the largest vineyard acquisition in Revelette's history, marking a significant milestone in the winery's continued commitment to estate-grown, terroir-driven winemaking.

Revelette Wines, a winery located in the Rutherford AVA of Napa Valey, is owned by Mason and Kathryn Revelette, from Brentwood, Tennessee. The couple has diversified their business ventures into Jonathan's Grille, The Rutledge, Revelette Wines, and Revelette Bourbon. Notably, Mason and Curt Revelette collectively own the 13 family restaurants, with six additional Jonathan's Grille locations currently under development.

Bear Track Vineyard encompasses 19.5 acres of mature, premier vines -- all in excellent health and currently yielding premium fruit. The property's elevated position on Howell Mountain offers the distinctive volcanic soils and cooler temperatures that define one of Napa Valley's most storied and sought-after growing regions with a stunning view of Pope Valley.

Revelette's wine maker, Jonathan Walden, is particularly enthusiastic about the opportunity to integrate Howell Mountain fruit into the winery's flagship Rutherford bench Cabernet Sauvignon. The interplay between the iron-rich volcanic soils of Howell Mountain and the deep alluvial gravels of the Rutherford Bench is expected to yield a Cabernet Sauvignon of greater depth, complexity, and structural elegance.

Looking ahead, the Revelettes plan to selectively replant portions of the property with additional Bordeaux varietals, further broadening the estate's capacity to craft wines that speak to the full expressive range of Napa Valley's finest growing sites.
